Shape of Nature Contest

The Clear Lake Arts Center invites artists to explore the forms, patterns, and presence of the natural world. Works should reflect Iowa’s landscapes, ecosystems, wildlife, or environmental themes. Artists are encouraged to consider sustainable practices and environmentally conscious materials when possible. Monetary Awards in First, Second, Third and Honorable Mention will be given at the the Awards Reception by public vote.

Voting will take place between the drop-off deadline of April 7 and the Awards Reception on April 22, 2026.

Awards Reception from 5 PM – 7:30 PM. April 22 at the Clear Lake Arts Center, 17 S. 4th St.

Awards will be announced at 6:30 PM.
