It’s all about caring for and celebrating this amazing home we share.

Clear Lake’s natural beauty and bounty is what attracted the first inhabitants; it is what draws many of us here today. Its restoration was an impetus for starting the first Clear Lake Earth Day.

The many events of Clear Lake Earth Day remind us of the common thread of creating well-being for our families, community and our natural home. Each is interconnected – whether it’s outdoor recreation for good physical and mental health, clean water, healthy food, recycling, conserving energy, reading, telling stories, or the very visible act of picking up trash in our community “backyard.”

There is much reason to celebrate!
