Clear Lake area families who want to grow their own fresh produce but don’t have access to land have that opportunity this year with a community garden in Clear Lake.
The garden, provided by the Clear Lake Church of Christ, has made land on the north side of their church property available for garden plots. The church has already tilled and fertilized the soil. Plots are approximately 10’x30’.
Some water will be available in rain barrels for watering needs. Gardeners will provide their own seeds, plants and garden tools. To sign up for a garden plot, please contact Curtis McGinnis at the Clear Lake Church of Christ, 357-5813 or booradley12@juno.com
